Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) film review
Wiki Article
Jurassic World: Dominion was one of the most bleak films I've watched this year. I've also seen many poor movies as a critic. The Jurassic World: Dominion, the third film in the Jurassic World trilogy, and the sixth installment of Jurassic Park as a series did not live up to the expectations. It was evident right from the beginning that this film wasn't going to be a huge success.
In Jurassic World: Dominion, the exciting idea is that dinosaurs, a feared species, will eventually dominate the earth. The film doesn't take the bold notion of expanding the universe, instead, it confines the dinosaurs to a tiny area. Unfortunately, this is one of the most negative moments throughout the film.
One of the films biggest problem is that it is short of the standards it set for itself, Jurassic World: Dominion. Fans were promised a satisfying end to Jurassic World, as well as major improvements. The film was marketed as the ultimate in the trilogy. A large portion of the audience felt disappointed and disillusioned because the film failed to meet the high standards established by its own advertising.
Jurassic World, Dominion's storyline is complex and dull to the point where it's almost absurd. It tries to include the characters from earlier films, without considering whether or not this makes sense. The story is poorly crafted and told at a jarring moment. There's a major hole in the story at this point. The film's runtime is so long that you'll end up wondering what all the controversy was about before the titles begin.
Jurassic World: Dominion tries to keep (original site) its audience interested by synchronizing two boring and unrelated plotlines. However, it fails terribly. Despite the obvious presence of the Stegosaurus however, the movie seems to ignore it all the way through, leaving viewers to wonder why it was even included.
Although Jurassic World: Dominion may be a step up from the highly criticized Jurassic Park III, that's far from acclamation. Given the series' poor experience in crafting compelling storylines, the picture might be one of the worst. Jurassic World's Dominion is a pointlessand terrible waste of time. It's disappointing to both long-time Jurassic Park fans and new viewers.
If you don't like Jurassic Park films, then you're free to skip this one. Instead, you should watch the original Jurassic Park film, which is considered to be the most excellent.
